After being selected for the Clermont Ferrand Film Festival Competition, and winning the Golden Calf, ELEPHANT FEET by Dan Geesin, is doing well on the international market. The film was selected for the prestigious Les Nuits en Or; a short film programme by the French César Académie du Cinema. Every year the Académie selects the 7 best short films from around the world and tour 11 cities in France, as well as Montréal, Madrid, Copenhagen, Geneva, and Rome, to meet with other National Academies.
Furthermore, the broadcasting rights were sold to Arte Television. Starting March 2013 it will be broadcasted by both Arte and ZDF.And it doesn’t stop here: Festivals from around the world select the film. In the next few weeks Elephant Feet will be screened at MESSAGE TO MAN, St Petersburg, DRAMA, Greece, and BRISTOL Int. Film Festival, UK. And last but not least: Just recently Elephant Feet won the Propeller Award for best Short at the Motovon Film Festival in Croatia!
